What & Where to donate

What to Donate

If you use it in your daily life, most likely our guests and clients can too! View our list of current needs!

Where to Donate

We try to make donating to us as convenient as possible, check out the donation location options below.

HOMELESS PREVENTION CENTER: 26th & O Street
This is the hub for our donations and the best place to bring your housewares, furniture, kids stuff, personal care items, non-perishable food and clothing. We ask that non-clothing items be in usable and working order.

TOSS BOXES:  We have over 30 Toss Boxes located around town, for wearable and textile donations. Learn more about our Toss Boxes and find a map!

HAULERS HELPING HOMELESS (NEW!): This new program launched in August 2015 and makes it possible for you to donate wearable and textiles right from your curb! Learn more about this program.

SHELTER: 110 Q Street
If you have a lot of donations for the Shelter, it is best to put them on our back dock (on the north side of the building). If possible, it is best to donate any large items of furniture or large donations at our Homeless Prevention Center (unless arrangements have been made with Shelter staff.)
