Blessings come in all shapes, sizes, and forms at the Mission.

Sometimes the blessings come from volunteers who feel at home working in our kitchen.
Sometimes it is a local college holding a class for our guests.
Sometimes it is rounding up a crew of your closest friends to shop for life’s little necessities for the less fortunate.
And often, it becomes just as much a blessing for you as it is for the needy.

Members of a local sorority stopped into the Mission recently with encouragement bags. The girls rounded up a group of their friends to help assemble bags filled with Kleenex, snacks, lip balm, and bottles of water. In the bags, they included handwritten hopeful and supportive messages for over 300 individuals.

Thank you for caring about Lincoln’s homeless, ladies. You’re blessing our guests more than you know.
You’re all difference makers.
