SAFETY FOR YOUTH

Through a network of local businesses and public sites,
Safe Place gives youth in crisis access to immediate help and safety.

If you are on the run, kicked out, homeless, or in danger for any reason, simply go to any of the 60+ 'Safe Place' sites in Lincoln.

How It Works

ASK FOR HELP
The trained site employee will call our PCM Safe Place advocate.



RECEIVE SHELTER & ASSISTANCE
The PCM Safe Place advocate will come and meet with you and, if necessary, provide transportation to the People's City Mission for temporary shelter until the best course of action can be determined and put into place. Most of the time we will try to reunite the youth with their family and get them home. If home is not a safe place, we will house the youth temporarily and connect them with local services specifically for youth.
