Christmas is for Everyone.

Especially for those who may need it the most.

“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11

What good news! God loves humanity and has given us a most precious gift in the form of a Savior. We want to thank you for the love and support you have extended to those experiencing homelessness and poverty in our community. Just know we deeply appreciate your faithful partnership with us.

What do they want for Christmas?

There are so many stories we could tell of people who have been touched by your generosity. It has made a difference in the lives of many, many people. God bless you for that.

Some of the most heartwarming stories come from children staying with us. I am always amazed at their seemingly unbreakable spirits. When I ask them what they want for Christmas their responses are so often just like every other kid – a specific toy, the cool sneakers…because they have found safety and security here at PCM, many of the littlest ones don’t even realize they are living in poverty. But the moms and dads have completely different hopes. They hope for a permanent home. For a fresh start for themselves and their children. At PCM, we want them to know that no matter where they live, no matter what their circumstances, Christmas is for everyone.

We may not be able to make all of their hopes for Christmas come true, but we can encourage them, pray for them, feed them well, provide a sense of community, and ensure they recieve gifts on Christmas morning.

How can you help?

Perhaps you have noticed the enclosed response card. The fact is we really need your help. Your gift, large or small, is very important.

Above all, please remember us in your prayers. We know God is good, and that His heart is for the helpless and hurting, and we believe yours is too. Our staff and I want to wish you and your loved ones a very merry and joyous Christmas!

His blessings on you!

Pastor Tom
