FEATURE ARTICLE:

This Christmas, Kindness Starts with Me.

“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11

What wonderful news! God’s love for humanity shines brightly, and He has blessed us with the precious gift of a Savior. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the love and support you’ve shown to those experiencing homelessness and poverty in our community. Your partnership means the world to us!

There are countless uplifting stories we could share about individuals whose lives have been transformed by your generosity and kindness.

Some of the most inspiring stories come from the children staying with us. Their resilience is remarkable! Many of them made Christmas cards they wanted to share with you. Check out our social media this month to see some of these works of art. Each was made by a precious child who has found safety and security here at PCM, many of whom don’t even realize they’re living in challenging circumstances.

All of our guests will receive gifts this year because of your generosity. And while we may not fulfill every Christmas wish, we can uplift their spirits, pray for them, nourish them, foster a sense of community, and ensure they receive those gifts on Christmas morning.

You may have noticed the enclosed response card. We truly need your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, is invaluable.

Above all, please keep us in your prayers. We believe in a loving God who cares deeply for the broken and hurting, and we know you share that compassion. He is truly the reason we can say that kindness starts with you, and kindness starts with me. Praying that you and your loved ones a joyous and merry Christmas!

His blessings on you!
Pastor Tom
